The enemy is everywhere
Or maybe the devil. Yesterday I went to the local FedEx Office to pick up a print order (the manuals for my hubby Steve’s mad new marketing system, Referral Breakthrough). I couldn’t believe my eyes – under the counter, there was a wall of candy. Yes, a wall. At Fed Ex, where they sell copies and signs and posters. At FedEx, where they should NOT sell candy. Especially NOT when customers are a little bit hungry, a little bit tired, and in need of a pick-me-up…and vulnerable to temptation.
It would have been so easy to grab a candy bar. Luckily I was prepared. I reached into my purse for a few cashews (I always carry food) and popped them in my mouth. I made it – this time.
A small victory. But a sweet one.

That’s another WW habit- never leave home without a snack! Great job! And we wonder why Americans are overweight- there is food everywhere!
